The Process

Some projects involve adding new content or functionality to an existing site, or improving its appearance, where others involve building a new site from the beginning. The steps we take are described below.

Getting to know you… Planning:

The initial consultation. This is a very important step. Before we can give you a quote – We need to know how large or small you imagine your online community to become. For those who are unsure we can discuss various options to help make your decision & lead you in the right direction. We need to learn more about you and your company. We start by understanding the issues you’re trying to resolve, your short- and long-term goals.

Creation
Together we gather content & graphics. We will layout a game plan to decide the look & feel of your site. We’ll decide how we’re going to use the information given to us to create your new image. The client will have the option to view samples of the new design.

Production
This is where we build the site. We will put together the information given to us.

Launch-Test
The site is uploaded. We may upload several variations of the site. During this process this will allow the client to see the different phases of design. This is when we make edits & additions to text content, graphics & the layout.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):    We take the necessary steps to include what is needed for your site to have the proper code for indexing in search engines.  Then submit to search engines.

Implement:
This is the moment that we’ve all been eagerly waiting for. After the testing phase – your site is ready for new visitors.

Backup: While working on your project we do regular backups.  However, once the project is launched & has been tested –  we do a complete backup after final editing & changes have been done.    This should also be done on a regular basis.

Maintenance:
Web technology is ever changing as is your business. Constant updates can keep visitors returning as well as bringing new. A plan for future additions & edits is vital to the life of your online community.
